What is Coronavirus?

The Coronavirus, aka COVID-19, is a cold virus that has already existed in human society but has evolved into a new variant that poses a serious danger to society. The coronavirus does not kill people directly, as a cold does not kill a person. However, since the virus spreads to the lungs from the respiratory track, the virus typically develops into pneumonia. Most of the deaths today have been people who were unable to combat the virus once it has infected their lungs due to their immune deficiencies.


The Coronavirus accomplishes infecting you as it approaches the nucleus of the cells in the human body to replicate with the RNA of the cell and attempts self-replication through the human cell nucleus. In the process, a heterologous protein is generated and the immune cells that detect it initiate an attack against the infected cells. During the process, symptoms may rapidly deteriorate due to an excessive immune response (Cytokine storm), or in the worst-case scenario, resulting in death.

CDC is responding to an outbreak of respiratory illness caused by a novel (new) coronavirus. The outbreak first started in Wuhan, China, but cases have been identified in a growing number of other locations internationally, including the United States. In addition to CDC, many public health laboratories are now testing for the virus that causes COVID-19.”

Therefore, it is important to prevent the strain of the coronavirus from entering our body or minimize the damage if it does enter your body.

COVID-19 has become classified as a global pandemic and is causing shut down of schools, businesses, and government agencies.

How to avoid COVID-19?

COVID-19 can affect people more severely if they have some kind of immune deficiency. People who are older, overweight, are undergoing immunity reducing treatments, and those with underlying illnesses, have the highest risk of not surviving the virus.

Dr. James Kim recommends that you pay attention to your diet, take vitamin supplements, and exercise as much as possible. Decrease the number of processed foods that you eat that are high in saturated fats, eat more vegetables, and drink plenty of water.

Follow this and not only will you be more protected from COVID-19, but you’ll be healthier and more energetic.

 

Restrain from touching other people, especially elderly that you could spread the virus to. The virus can live on many* surfaces up to 24 hours, if you touch something somebody else touched, wash your hands.

Don’t touch your face. (This is the fastest way to transfer the virus to your body.)
Use Sanitizer after touching any surfaces where people have been.

Steps You Can Take to Avoid Infection:

1. Personal hygiene. Poor hygiene will lower your immunity. See this guide from CDC.

2. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap for at least 20 seconds.

3. Maintaining social distance: Maintain a distance of 1.82 meters (6 feet) or more from other people.

4. Avoid attending meetings with multiple people. 

5. Wear a medical-grade mask when outside your home, ideally one that is rated N95.

6. Nutrition. Eat balanced, healthy diets. Avoid processed foods.

7. Protein intake (over 1/1000 of body weight / daily, eg 60G or more if normal body weight is 60KG). Read More Here.

8. Sufficient water intake 2.5L / 84oz per day.

9. Basic vitamin intake to improve immunity:

B COMPLEX, C (3,000mg or more, incremental increase), D (5,000IU), E (500IU), COQ10 (200MG), OMEGA 3.

10. Maintaining physical fitness: Try to exercise at home with calisthenics exercises or using equipment if you have it. Cardio exercises will improve your blood flow and relieve stress.

11. Stop Stressing. The best way to relieve yourself of physical and mental stress is to practices exercises that stop you from thinking: praying, meditation, proper exercise, stretching, reading, watching comedy and family movies, talking with loved ones.

If any of our clients have symptoms of flu, cold, or any mild sickness, we advise them to stay home and refuse service. Please keep in mind if you’re a sick, we cannot treat you and hospitals are your best bet.
